Mentoring FTC Team 21781 - Since Dec. 2022

We set up an asynchronous chat space with rookie FTC team 21718 Mecha-Lions, to ask our team questions. We assisted them in implementing difficult code concepts. By sharing out knowledge with the rookie team, we fostered the FTC community right on our doorstep.

Sacred Heart - Since 2019

Our team has established a bi-weekly enrichment program with the After School Academy at Sacred Heart Community Service, attended by low-income Latino youth from Kindergarten to grade 8. We teach FLL robot building and programming, as well as various engineering tasks that help students develop STEM skills. Each session, we expose an average 15-20 students who haven't had any STEM experience to engineering.

9th Grade Family Welcome Demo - Aug. 27, 2022

We reached out to the Leland bridge, which is our high school's parent club that helps Chinese American students and families enhance their education, to give a presentation at a welcome event for new students to explain our team and mission.
