Mentoring FTC Team 21781 - Since Dec. 2022

We set up an asynchronous chat space with rookie FTC team 21718 Mecha-Lions, to ask our team questions. We assisted them in implementing difficult code concepts. By sharing out knowledge with the rookie team, we fostered the FTC community right on our doorstep.

9th Grade Orientation - August 26, 2023

Our team gave a presentation at a welcome event for incoming Leland freshmen explaining our team and our mission. We like to introduce this opportunity at the beginning of the year to give the new highschoolers an opportunity to join our team.

Kickoff Github Workshop - September 9, 2023

In our Kickoff event, the programmers from our team shared their knowledge of GitHub and Android Studio with the other teams.

Bay Area’s Maker’s Fair - October 20- 21, 2023

During the Maker's Faire, our team showed how our robots work, as well as how you can get involved in FIRST as well as what our team is about as well as how to get involved.

8th Grade Info Night - January 27, 2024

At our annual 8th grade info night at our middle school, we represented Leland High School as part of our FIRST and STEM efforts.
